Snap Connection

Families

The Family’s Involvement includes family counseling, parent education and support during times of crisis.

Parent Groups run concurrently with the Boys' and Girls Groups.  Groups meet once a week for 12 consecutive weeks for parents to learn effective child management techniques and share their concerns with other parents.

Sibling Group (ages 5 to 12) runs concurrently with the SNAP Boys, SNAP Girls and Parent Group.  Siblings are introduced to the same concepts being taught to their brothers and sisters.

Long Term Connections include family support nights, parents as volunteers, and continuing support to children and their families up to the child’s 18th birthday.
