Snap Connection

SNAP® Girls

The Girls’  Program is for girls between the ages of six to twelve years who are experiencing behavioural problems at home, school, or in the community. Through both individual and group work, the girls learn and practice self-control and problem solving skills.

The program also helps parents to effectively monitor and guide their child’s behaviour. Girls groups meet once a week for 12 consecutive weeks where girls participate in a club whereby they learn to SNAP™ (Stop Now And Plan) in difficult situations.

They participate in discussions and role-play. The Girls includes Girls Growing Up Healthy workshop for parents and their daughters to learn about girls’ physical and sexual health together, using that process to build relationships as well as healthy body image and self-esteem.
